Free Medical Camp: Aboru Muqami Treats 235 People


More than 230 people have been treated for various medical complaints during the Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Aboru Muqami’s Free Medical test held on 26th February, 2017 at 16, Olayinka Street, Aboru, Agege Dil’a.

The programme featured three medical tests that – blood pressure, sugar level and malaria test, coupled with health talk and counselling with the help of some Jama’at members who are Medical Practitioners.

According to the Qaid, Bro. Sadiq Abiola, the programme was done as a community service to assist people become conversant with their health status owing to stress people go through on a daily basis and as humanitarian service on our own part in line with the Jama’at’s humanitarian service.

Meanwhile, drugs for malaria, blood pressure and blood sugar were given to the participants. Mosquito nets were also given to pregnant women and worm expellers for children. This serve as an opportunity for tabligh as various Jama’at’s literature were distributed to the participants.

Although most benefiaciaries commended the programme, the Baale of Aboru, Chief R. A. Bamgbopa, lauded the effort of the Majlis and appreciated them on behalf of the people of Aboru community for holding such a programme in his community.
