Lagos Ilaqa joins others to mark 57th Independence

Marking the 57th Nigeria’s Independence in Lagos, Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Lagos State has joined other organizations (public, private, religious and socio-cultural) to gather at the Police College, GRA, Ikeja for Independence Parade to commemorate with his Excellency, Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode.

The Governor was ably represented by the SSG, Mr Tunji Bello with top government functionaries including the Oba of Lagos, Oba Riliwan Akiolu.

24 gallant Majlis members participated along with other bodies for Match Past, being a registered youth and an affiliate of National Youth Council of Nigeria.

In addition, the Governor’s representative, gave a short and interesting speech before the commemoration ended with a National Anthem.
