It was an unforgettable day for members of the Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Ogun Ilaqa as they gathered to organise an Economic Summit to enlighten themselves on possible measures to liberate youths economically without compromising their moral uprightness.
The summit which was divided into two segments – economic and moral, consisted of panelists who discussed on various issues within the segments.
Dr Jubril Ali, Bro Oriolowo Murtadha, Alh. Mujahid Popoola, Missionary Qasim Rufai, Bro Azeez Babatunde, Alh. Adewale Shitu, who were panelists for the economic segment, advised participants to diversify their sources of income, incorporate western education and training in their various jobs.
Missionary Abdus Sobur Kolade, Barrister Ashimowiy Raji, Maulvi Sanni Abdur Rasheed, and Missionary Haroon Idowu, who were panelists for the moral segment, advised participants to gloss over their failures and seek Allah’s guidance on the way forward, believe that there is no hurdle to prevent them from succeeding in life and believe that everything is possible with adequate steadfastness.
Also, 60 Majlis members donated blood to the National Blood Transfusion Service (NBTS), Abeokuta Chapter at the Summit as part of the programme.
