Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Omi-Adio, in its effort to further spread the message of true Islam and build cordial relationship with stakeholders in the society, paid a courtesy visit to the Ido Unit Command of Federal Road Safety Corps on 23rd January 2018.
The team led by Dil’a Naib Qaid, Bro. Olalekan Ismail, was warmly received by the Unit Commander and the entire officers of the Ido Command at the Road Safety office located in the suburb of Ido town.
The team leader introduced Ahmadiyya community, the structural set up, the Majlis Khuddam and its activities, especially community development projects and also presented Ahmadiyya books to the delight of the entire command.
In her reaction, the Unit Commander, Chief (Mrs.) Okwuolise Racheal, commended members of Maljis Khuddam, stating that the courtesy visit was the first of its kind despite her long spell of service in the division.
She used the visit as an opportunity to acknowledge and commend Majlis Khuddam’s series of traffic control activities at the popular and ever busy Omi-Adio market road. She noted that the specific goal of Federal Road Safety Corps can only be optimally achieved when partnering relevant voluntary organizations like MKAN within the community.
She marveled at the blood donation statistics of Majlis Khuddam in the last twelve (12) month expressing that in a way, accident victims rescued by the FRSC must have benefited from it. She pledged further unflinching support to the Majlis in the area especially in the area of traffic control so as to meet up with the standard in line with the global trends.
