Apata Locality begins ‘Stop the Crime Campaign’

In a bid to curb the growing menace of students’ involvement in crime and criminal activities in the society, Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Apata Locality has launched the Stop the Crime  Campaign with the sensitization of 357 Senior Secondary School students of the renowned Government College, Ibadan on 6th February, 2018.

The campaign which was conducted in an interactive manner was facilitated by members of Majlis Khuddam. Among them were the Naib Muhtahmin Talim, Bro Adeitan Mustapha; Naib Muhtamin Atfal II, Bro Azeez Alaran and Oyo Ilaqa Tabligh Officer, Bro Jafar Ibrahim.

Speaking at the end of the exercise, an Ahmadi Teacher in the school, Mrs Oladejo expressed her excitement at the conduct of students who were attentive during the presentation. She appreciated the  Apata Muqami for the outstanding initiative and presentation.

Similarly, the school principal also commended Majlis Khuddam-ul Ahmadiyya for making a crime free society her goal. He praised the Majlis for the opportunity given to the school to benefit from the sensitization programme, adding that he was looking forward to welcoming the Majlis another time.

Subsequently, the principal was informed about the forthcoming tree planting exercise which he acknowledged and stated his readiness to accept within the school premises.

In attendance at the event were 8 members from Apata Muqami, 2 Oyo Ilaqa Officers, 2 Mulk Officers, Bro Rasaq Musa, Bro Bashir Leramoh, Bro Abass Adebayo, Bro Shefiu Olasunkanmi, Bro Abdul Quadri Munir and Apata Dil’a Qaid, Bro Maruf Akinola.
