Stop the Crime: Ojodu District orientates over 3500 students


Bent on dissuading the minds of the youths from crime and criminal activities, Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Ojodu Dil’a has orientated more than 3500 students of Community High School, Adesan-Olu, Mowe during its Stop the Crime Campaign and Sensitization Exercise on 7th March, 2018.

With the help of the Vice Principal (Academics), Mr Abdullah Abdul Mobil, an Ahmadi from Sagamu Jama’at, the Majlis, led by Dil’a Qaid, Bro Ahmad Babalola, was able to grant the permission of the Principal. It donated some gifts to the school which include: Jama’at Calendar, Truth Magazine and Review of Religion.

Basically, the Majlis sensitized the students on what crime is, types of crime, challenges facing youths on crime, effects of crime and solutions to avoid criminal acts in the community.

Students’ questions on Majlis’ activities in the community were answered by the members just as few members of the staff who wanted to know more about MKAN were attended to.

The school acknowledged Majlis’ presence, presentation and well planned programme by sharing their thoughts and showing appreciation.

As a result, a group photograph with 3 members of staff out of 39 plus 10 N-power teaching staff and 6 Majlis members, including a Khadim from Owode who was there on official duty as a member of Man-o-War to educate and drill the students on security.
