Dil’a Ijtema: Omi Adio District holds Community Peace Symposium


As part of the Dil’a Ijtema programme in preparation for Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya Nigeria Annual Ijtema 2018, Omi-Adio Dil’a on 3rd March 2018 has held community peace symposium amid procession and distribution of tracts to Community members.

The programme witnessed influx of eminent personalities, among which were; Omi-Adio Circuit President, Dr. L.A. Omoyele; Oyo Ilaqa Qaid, Bro Awe AbdHakeem; Caretaker Chairman, Omi-Apata L.C.D.A, Barrister Adekunle Oyeniyi; Ido Divisional Officers of Nigeria Police Force (NPF); Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC); Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC); Nazim Ansarullah, Pa. Hakeem Salaudeen; Alh. F. K. Apooyin and Omi-Adio Muqami Lajna President, Mrs. Z. Onaade, among others.

The programme was held at Ekolagba Cooperative Hall, Ido Road off Abeokuta Expressway, Omi-Adio, Ibadan, with the erudite scholar, Professor Abdullah AbdRahman as the guest lecturer on the theme of National Ijtema “National Peace: The Critical Need of the Time”.

This was followed by interactive session anchored by Bro. Nasir AbdAzeez with four (4) panelists namely: Officer Adebayo Bilal (NSCDC), Officer Z. E. Edem, (FRSC), Officer Ajadi Sulaiman (NPF) and Bro. Olayinka Qazeem (Majlis Khuddam Representative) with the topic “Attaining Peaceful Co-existence in Nigeria: The Way Forward”.

Health talk was delivered by Dr. Yusuf Abdullah on the topic ‘Diabetics Mellitus: Causes and Prevention’. Ask Me About Islam stand equally displayed for the benefit of the seeker of truth.

76 Majlis members, 29 Ansarullah, 36 Lajna Imaillah, 5 paramilitary officers and 3 non-Ahmadi guests were in attendance.
