Tabligh: Lagos State holds Public Lecture on Peace

The Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Lagos State has held its public lecture at Akute Muqam on 14th July, 2018.

The programme has the presence of Ojodu Circuit President, Alh. AbdulHakeem Arowosere; State Qaid, Bro. Shuaib Badmus; Ojodu Circuit Tabligh Sec., Alh. AbduRasaq Moruf; Jama’at Presidents – Denro: Pa. AbdulWasiu Soyoye; Akute: Pa. AbdulHakeem Adeniran; Matogun: Bro. Abass Akinroye, Muallim Awwal Yusuf and Alhaja Balogun, among others.

The lecturer, Hafiz AbdurRofeeq Alaka, who talked on “Islamic Concept of Peace in the light of Qur’an and Sunnah”, educated the listeners on lack of justice as the main constituent missing to having peaceful societies.

He gave insights to what led to world war I and II and some bedlams Nigeria has also witnessed in the past. He noted that the only solution to world peace is justice. He then advised Muslims to establish justice everywhere they are, as this will symbolize the true teachings of Islam, the noblest of mankind Muhammad (saw) has come to propagate.

Over 105 people understood the importance of justice in our world today to establishing sustainable peace and development after the lecture.
