Tree Planting Flag Off: Oyo State plants 18 trees

Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Oyo State has flagged off the tree planting exercise on 3rd June, 2018 at two locations in Ikoyi Ile/Ogbomosho District with eighteen trees.

The exercise was flagged off by the State Qaid, Bro Awe Abdul-Hakeem and assisted by Bro. Badejo Taofeek, Naib Motamad 1; Qaid Dil’a Coca-Cola, Bro. Raji Taoheed; Qaid Dil’a Ikoyi-Ile/Ogbomosho, Missionary Abdussalam AbduFatir; State Nazim Waqar-e-Amal, Bro. Sarumi Abdul Hakeem and Bro. Animasaun AbdurRasheed, Nazim Isha’at, among others.

The two venues are Ikoyi Grammar School, Ikoyi-Ile with 8 Trees and L.A. Primary School, Ikoyi Ile with 10 Trees. Varieties of Trees planted include Umbrella Trees, etc.

Some Districts in the state have also started while others are to flag off theirs on June 5 (World Environmental Day).

However, as at June ending, a total of 284 trees have been planted out of 500 tress targeted by the state.
