Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Ota District has marked its welfare programme by paying visitation to elders in the Jama’at and organizing free health screening and public lecture between 26th and 27th October, 2018.
The members visited the elders of the Jama’at, non-active and non-Ahmadi members in the community. The youths prayed for their protection and asked Allah to grant them long life.
As part of the welfare programme, the Majlis also organized a free health care service in the community and screened people for malaria, blood pressure, fasting blood sugar and free eye tests.
In the same vein, the youth also organized a public lecture. The lead lecturer, Barrister Rabiu Uthman, spoke on ‘Social Welfare to Humanity’ while the second lecturer, Muallim Sulaiman Ogunkanmi, spoke on ‘the Spiritual Implications of Adultery/Fornication’.
The public lecture had the presence of MTN Nigeria who supported the program with branding items such as jotters for all attendees. It also assisted the people at the venue to upgrade their 3G sims to 4G sims for free and also subsidized the prize of a new sim to the lowest so that everybody living around could benefit therefrom through the collaboration between MTN Nigeria and Ota Dil’a.
