The memory of the Ride for Peace Campaign organized by Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Edo State on 11th November, 2018 continues to linger on with the presence of the Chairman, National Youth Council of Nigeria, (NYCN) Etsako West, Alh. Ridwan Oshobugie and the NYCN Senator representing the six zones in the state, Mr Ben Eshiemokhai.
No fewer than 88 Khuddam, 4 Ansarullah, 15 Atfal participated in the event aimed at preaching peace, love tolerance and disseminating the message of Islam-ul-Ahmadiyya as members of Lajna Imaillah also played their role in good number behind the scene.
A distance of about 4.9km was covered in 4 hours. Pamphlets like; “What is Islam” and “This is Islam” were distributed and the campaign was warmly received by members of the public.
Journalists for the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) and Bronze FM 101.5, Benin City also offered interview to the Sadr Sahib and some of the participants on the significance of the campaign.
The Ride for Peace exercise, which also had the participation of Maulvi Abdullateef Ilori, took the participants to the Palace of the Otaru of Auchi Kingdom, where Sadr sahib and every member were received by the head of all the Dawoodus (Village Heads) and Secretary to the Otaru of Auchi Kingdom.
Sadr sahib, in his address, described the notable activities of Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Nigeria (MKAN) and Jama’at in general.
In addition, the NYCN Chairman, Etsako West stated the outstanding participatory efforts of MKAN so far both at the State and Local Government levels.
