Aba-Alamu Locality holds Free Medical Screening

With the support of Aba Alamu community landlords, landladies and the youths, Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Aba Alamu Muqami has again taken the giant stride of helping humanity by organizing a-one day free medical camp at Aba Alamu Community Hall, Aba Alamu Area on 17th November, 2018.

The conducted tests were fasting blood sugar, malaria parasite test, Blood pressure and test for Protein in urine.

The free medic al screening was anchored by medical experts, Miss Bolanle, Mrs Afolabi and Bro Taofeeq Salaudeen.

A total of 79 persons (14 males, 52 females, 4 Lajna members, 9 Khuddam and 32 non-Ahmadis) were screened. Out of which, 25 had high blood pressure while one person tested positive to Diabetes and Proteinuria. The affected persons were advised to be watchful of their diet and also encouraged to exercise their body regularly. They were then referred to the hospital for further diagnosis and treatment.

The exercise, which lasted for about 4 hours, was graced by Aba-Alamu Jama’at President, Alh R.O.Ogunlade and Apata Dil’a Qaid, Bro. Muftau Hussein. They expressed their sincere appreciation to the Qaid Muqam, Bro Olasunkanmi Zakariyyah, for the good initiative.

The Chairman, Aba-Alamu Landlord Association, Mr. T.O Ogunjobi, also thanked the Ahmadiyya community for bringing the programme to the community, advising that drugs distribution should be added in subsequent medical drives.
