Ahmadi Muslim Students’ Association (AMSA) has held its fifth edition of the Annual National Tabligh Workshop at Jamia Mubashireen, Ilaro, Ogun State between 16th and 22nd December, 2018.
The event, according to organizers, was intended to equip youth with the required knowledge to make them acquire better understanding of Islam and Ahmadiyya.
While the 7-day programme had over 225 members from several higher institutions of learning across the federation, it featured faith inspiring and motivational lectures from different prolific scholars within the Jama’at.
The students were lectured on various topics, which are: The Truth about the Death of Prophet Isa (as); The Concept of Khatm-un-Nubuwwat; The Concept of the Second Advent of Jesus Christ (as); The Truthfulness of the Claims of the Promised Messiah (as); The Concept of Dajjaal/Gog and Magog; An Introduction to the Study of Hadith; The Punishment for Fornication; Bible Drills, Learning from Mentors; The Concept of Tawheed; The Concept of Apostasy in Islam and The Concept of Abrogation in Islam, among others.
Amir Sahib, Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, Nigeria, Dr. Mashhud Adenrele Fashola, in his speech, advised members to improve their spiritual uprightness without leaving behind educational excellence so as to become recipients of divine blessings in this world and world to come.
Alhaji M. A. Bankole, Chairman, Jalsa Planning Committee advised members never to put their trust on any friend as it is only Allah who does not betray. ‘Friends, no matter how trustworthy they are, they could betray, he said.
Alhaji Abdul Azeez Alatoye, Naib Amir (SouthWest), AMJN, emphasized on the need for members to put absolute trust in Allah because Allah never disgraces anyone who puts absolute trust in Him. He concluded his address by advising members to back up their struggles with prayers.
