Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Osun State has unveiled its new Qaid during the first commemoration programme held at Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Central Mosque between 11th and 13th January, 2019.
The programme, which theme was ‘Understanding the Issues of the Past and Way Forward’, saw the immediate former State Qaid, Bro. Qaseem M’Awwal handing over duty to the new State Qaid, Bro. Nurudeen Abdulateef in grand style.
The programme was attended by more than 70 Majlis members.
Jama’at office holders who presented papers at the event were: former State Qaid, Bro M’Qasim Awwal; Naib State Qaideen, Bro Saheed Raheem and Bro Abdulsalam Nurudeen, Dila Qaideen; Bro Nurudeen Abdulateef (Osogbo, now State Qaid); Bro Odekunle Hafiz (Ife); Muqameen Qaideen, Bro Ismail Salahudeen (Ikirun), Bro Akintayo A’Waheed (Ife) and Bro Ogunsola Abdulhakeem (Osogbo).
In their presentations, they were able to state their experiences, the challenges they faced while in office and way forward to solving the problems they encountered.
At the grand final event held on Sunday, suggestions were made by the special guests who occupied those important offices in time past but are now members of the Ansarullah.
In his remarks, Osogbo Circuit Missionary, Muallim Tirmidhi said: “Jama’at does not need us but we are the ones who need the Jama’at.”
He continued that if the youths abandoned the Jama’at’s duty, Allah would simply replace them with better people who would perform excellently better than them, for the work of God can not cease functioning.
In the speech, State Qaid encouraged members to be committed and be ready to sacrifice their all for the sake of religion.
