Amir, Oyo Qaid, others attend School Inauguration by Humanity First

Amir, Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, Nigeria, Dr Mashhud Adenrele Fashola, Oyo State Qaid, Bro. Hussein Muftaudeen and others have attended the inauguration of a newly built Elementary School by Humanity First International, Nigeria at Yeosa Village, Ido Local Government Area, Ibadan, Oyo State on 27th January, 2019.

Bro. Hussein Muftaudeen was delighted to attend the laudable event having been notified of Khuddam’s selfless services, especially Coca-Cola Dil’a whose services brought about a full charity school in its domain.

 Worthy of mention was the service of Majlis members who were part of Coca-Cola Tabligh Team who on several occasions have sacrificed their life, wealth, time for the premium sake of enriching the inhabitants of the Village and other neighbouring villages with Islamic knowledge especially Yassarnal Qur’an.

The Humanity First International (HFI), Nigeria, bent on improving the welfare and providing services to all and sundry across the globe irrespective of religion, denomination, tribe and colour, yet again marked an historical record of building a-3 Block well structured and furnished Classrooms for the Yeosa Rural Community.

In his Inaugural Speech, the Chairman of HFI, Nigeria, who also doubles as Naib Amir Northern Region, Dr. Y. A. Habeeb praised Allah for His bounty towards the total actualization of the community project.

He, however, gave insight to the significance of that popular prophecy of the Holy Founder of Ahmadiyya Community: ‘I shall cause thy message to reach the corners of the earth’, explaining how non-Ahmadis, (Muslims and non-Muslims alike) testified to the manifestation of that grand prophecy “and praise be to Allah that it’s happening here today again at Yeosa Village.

The Chairman explained clearly the links between Humanity First and Ahmadiyya by stating that it’s the foundation laid by the 4th Caliph of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hadrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad (ra).

Concluding his speech, Dr Habeeb charged the inhabitants of the village to support Humanity First Team in subsequent services.

In his Speech, Amir drew audience’s attention to the first verses (Chapter 96) of the Holy Qur’an revealed to the Holy Prophet (saw) where Allah spoke about importance of knowledge.

He explained that knowledge has enabled the sincere minds to expand their comprehension of the exalted status of the Almighty, though no amount of knowledge could give total comprehension of the existence of Allah Almighty for Allah is always bigger than the imagination of mankind.

Allah warned in subsequent verses of same chapter that knowledge which you have gotten should not cause your destruction owing to pride and arrogance.

Furthermore, the Amir Sahib continued: “Our services are for all, since our beloved Prophet (saw) was a mercy for all mankind according to the glorious Qur’an. If you desire mercy of the benevolent God, do good to all.”

In his words, the Village head, Pa. Muibi Olanrewaju expressed his overwhelming joy in appreciating the kind gestures offered to his community by the Humanity First International, Nigeria.

‘Our kids too have brains but unavailability of resources have made them redundant. However, praise be to God our kids would now avert rigorous struggle to get to school in far neighbouring villages,’ the village head asserted.

A Stakeholder in charge of the project, former General Secretary, A.M.J.N, Alh. Dauda Raji also spoke at length about the entire project. He appreciated the community for its support during the course of the project and especially those who had accommodated and endured hardships during the execution of the project.

He equally appreciated the Coca-Cola Circuit Team for their support and said a retired high school principal and 2 serving vice-principals from the Circuit would work as local coordinators in supporting the administration of the school, whole appreciating Mr. Rasheed Oladepo for donating four plots of land on which the school is built.

Similarly, the Imam of the Community, Imam AbdurRasheed Abdul Azeez appreciated God Almighty for remembering this location Himself, saying that if not by His grace, Yeosa Village wouldn’t have been noticed by the Organization.

He equally appreciated the efforts of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community for its enormous service to the world and Islam in particular.

Other dignitaries at the event includes the Vice Chairman of the Organization and Naib Amir, Southwest, Alh. Barr. Abdul Azeez Alatoye; General Secretary, A.M.J.N, Alh. Abbas Iromini; Sadr, Majlis Ansarullah Nigeria, Engr. A.W.A. Adeoye; Coca-Cola Circuit President, Alh. F.O. AbdusSalam; Naib State Qaid (Admin.), Bro. Ogundokun Qazeem; Qaid Dil’a, Bro. Raji Taohid; Sadr, Lajnah Imaillah Nigeria and Hajia Taofeeqah Fagbolade, among others.
