AMSA Oyo holds Orientation Seminars at Ibadan, Oyo, Oke-Ogun

Ahmadi Muslim Students’ Association, Oyo State has held its orientation seminar at three different locations, Ibadan, Oyo and Oke-Ogun recently with a view to making pre-admission and post-admission challenges easy and surmountable.

For Ibadan location, the programme was held at Ahmadiyya Mosque, Apata on 26th January, 2019. According to the Organiser, it was organized for secondary school leavers and admission seekers  across Oyo State to orientate them on ways to cross the hurdles of gaining admission successfully, to help them attain and maintain academic excellence right from inception and also to monitor their academic, moral and spiritual developments through their various institutions.

Topics discussed at the event were: Regularity In Jama’at Activities: A Catalyst For Academic Excellence delivered by  Bro. Muftau Hussein, Oyo State Qaid and the PathWay to Attaining Success In Higher Institution delivered by Ustaz AbdulAzeez Alaran, C.E.O. Al’ Izza Institute.

Meanwhile, 55 admission seekers, 15 secondary school students, 3 newly-admitted students,  10 Executive members and 13 other people attended the event.

The dignitaries at the event include: Chairman, Circuit President Forum Oyo State, Alh. Ademoye, ably represented by Apata Circuit Vice President, Pa. Taofeek Hadi; Prof. Abdullah AbdulRahman from Babcock University; former Oyo State Qaid, Pa. Daud Dikko; Apata Dil’a Qaid, Bro Gaffar Muhammed, Lajna Imaillah District III Sadr, Mrs Fatimah Adewale; her Secretary and AMSA Oyo State Female Coordinator, Mrs Salaudeen.

However, Oyo Region had its seminar at Ahmadiyya Mosque, Folatyre, Oyo on 26th January, 2019.

The programme was graced by Oyo Circuit President, Pa. Tajudeen AbdulSalaam; Oyo Circuit Central Missionary, Maulvi AbdulRasheed Sanni; Missionary Ojoye AbdulKabir; Assistant Director Degree & Sandwich Programme, Emmanuel Alayande College of Education (EACOED), Dr. S.M. Raheem, ably represented by Alhaja Hammed Haminat, Dept of Chemistry; Headmaster, Royal Gold Nursery & Primary School, Sanga, Oyo, Alh. AbdulLateef AbdulWaheed (Egbayi); Naib State Qaid (Special Duty II), Bro. Lawal Kabir; Oyo Dil’a Qaid, Bro. Salaam Akeem and Oyo Lajna Circuit President.

The Lecturers invited were: Dr S.M. Raheem who spoke on ‘Regularity in Jama’at Activities: A Catalyst For Academic Excellence’ and Alh. AbdulLateef Abdul Waheed who talked on ‘The PathWay To Attaining Success In Higher Institutions.’

At the end of the event, 12 admission seekers, 21 secondary school students, 5 newly-admitted students, 8 Executives and 22 other people were present.

Also, Oke-Ogun region had its orientation seminar at Ahmadiyya Mosque, Opo Maalu, Saki on 2nd February, 2019.

The programme was attended by Oke-Ogun Circuit President, Pa. AbdulKareem; former State Qaid, Pa. Daud Dikko from Mathematics Dept., University of Ibadan; Missn. Adebimbe Ahmad, Saki Jama’at; Missn. Jamiu Shittu, Tede Jama’at; Missn. Adeyemi Issa, Iseyin Jama’at; Oke-Ogun Lajna President, Mrs. Aminah Abidoye; Nasra Niagram, Mrs. Badmus and Lajna Vice-President, Mrs. Busari S.

Topic discussed at the event were: Regularity In Jama’at Activities: A Catalyst For Academic Excellence delivered by Missn. Adeyemi Issa (Isehin Jama’at) and the Path Way To Attaining Success In Higher Institution delivered by Pa. Daud Dikko.

For attendance, 11 admission seekers, 6 secondary school students, 11 Executives and 7 other people were at the event.

Furthermore, the two topics were discussed extensively on how success and achievement could be attained in higher institutions right from the inception as a result of our regularity in Jama’at activities.
