Ahmadi Muslim Students’ Association (AMSA), The Polytechnic, Ibadan Unit has held a public lecture at the front gate of Ahmadiyya Sango Police Barracks Mosque on 15th March, 2019.
The topic discussed was: “Ways to establish World Peace, Trust and Justice.”
The lecturer, Muallim Bello Dhunoorain, Apata Circuit Missionary, citing Qur’an 51:57 and Qur’an 49:10, discussed at length on how to settle dispute within two people and also the manner in which Salama (greeting) could be returned as explained in Qur’an 4:87 .
The programme was graced by Sango President, Pa Isiaka Balogun; Circuit Missionary, Alhaji A.G. Oladipupo; Coca-Cola Dil’a Qaid, Bro. Taoheed Raji and AMSA Coordinator, Bro. Agbaje Yusuf, among others.
In addition, leaflets were distributed to neighbours and passers-by as 30 people were in attendance at the event.
In a similar vein, the Unit also donated five pints of blood at National Blood Transfusion Service (NBTS) Hospital, Ibadan on 16th March, 2019 to save the lives of unknown people who need blood to survive an ailment.
The four members donated the blood owing to the belief that it is their responsibilities to save the lives of others according to the teachings of Qur’an and Hadith.
In a related development, AMSA PolyIbadan also organized an orientation seminar for freshers at Ahmadiyya Mosque, Sango Police Barracks, Sango, Ibadan on 2nd March, 2019.
The programme was aimed at sensitizing and enlightening the freshers, jambites and other students on their roles and how to perform them in the best manners on campus being Ahmadi Students.
The three topics discussed were: Academic Excellence: Way Out for Possible Vision, Sojourn On Campus as an Ahmadi Student and How to Compute Grade Point and handled by Bro Adekunle Animashaun from The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Department of SLT and Bro. Ibrahim Jaffar respectively.
The programme was graced by Coca-Cola Circuit President, ably represented by Alh Abdulwasiu Ahmed; Circuit Missionary, Alhaji F. O. Salami; Sango President; Coca-Cola Dil’a Qaid, Bro Taoheed Raji, ably represented by former muqami Qaid, Bro Agbaje Yusuf, Lajna Circuit President and other dignitaries in the Jama’at.
The total number of 43 people were recorded at the event.
