Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Abuja Ilaqa and Ijebu-Ode District have organised workshops for Atfal and Nasrat with a view to educating them on Islam’s tenets and teachings.
Abuja held its Atfal/Nasrat Workshop at Ahmadiyya, Central Mosque, Abuja between 29th and 31st March, 2019.
The 3-day event had the attendance of 44 Atfal and 64 Nasrat as they were engaged in spiritual knowledge, secular education and sport activities.
The participants were taught Qur’an memorization, life and death of Imam Mahdi (as), prayer of the Holy Prophet (saw), prayer of the Holy Qur’an, prayer for patience and steadfastness, prayer of the Lord of Sovereignty.
Also the children were taken through Salat – conditions for Salat, how to stand properly during Salat and what to say during postures. Similarly, Qaseedah and Hadith were memorized by the participants.
At the end of the lessons, the participants also engaged in sporting activities such as table tennis, concentration race and power pull, among others on Muqam basis to inspire and promote friendship and healthy competition among the children.
On the final day of the workshop, an examination was conducted for the participants to test their comprehension of the knowledge they were taught.
The closing ceremony was honoured with the presence of Maulvi Nasir and the National Tabligh Secretary, Dr. Sa’eed Olurotimi Timehin.
In his speech, Maulvi Nasir urged the children to always ensure they wear their uniforms during Atfal activities and the knowledge acquired should be applied in our day-to-day activities.
Dr. Sa’eed Timehin, in his remarks, congratulated the children for being members of this divine Jama’at, while admonishing them to abide by the Atfal pledge read earlier and watch Hudhur on MTA always as against TV channels that promote immoralities.
The Ilaqa Atfal Secretary and Naib Muhtamin Atfal (Northern Region), Bro Mujib Ajimoti reminded each tifl to be regular in his Chanda payment.
In the same vein, Ijebu-Ode District organised its Atfal Workshop at Obalende, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, between 29th and 31st March, 2019.
The main topics of the workshop include “Trust and Truthfulness” and “Duties On Earth: To Worship God and Serve Mankind”, delivered by Missionary Abdulsalam Toyeeb and Maulvi Wajiullah Sahib respectively.
The programme also featured health talk, dignity of labour (Waqar-e-Amal), hand craft, Tilawatul Qur’an, chanting of Qaseedah, Qur’an recitation and memorisation, as well as Hadith reading and memorisation.
