Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Cross River State, Ekae and Iviukwe Muqameen have cleared blocked gutter, bushy street, debris from the road and filled potholes as parts of their Dignity of Labour programmes for the development of communities.
Cross-River held its Waqar-e-Amal at Lagos Street Market, Calabar on 31st March, 2019.
Nine Majlis members, three Atfal and two Christians stormed the area with their working tools to clear blocked gutter to allow free flow of water and prevent flooding and mosquitoes in the community.
Likewise, Majlis also filled potholes on the community for easy movement of vehicles.
The community was happy and commended the efforts of Majlis for the selfless service to humanity.
During the service, a youth from the community also joined the Majlis in the selfless service which lasted close to three hours.
In the same development, Ekae Muqam, for its Waqar-e-Amal programme, cleared bushes on the street leading to Mosque opposite Winners Headquarters, Sapele Road, Benin City, Edo State on 31st March, 2019.
The Majlis members worked with their working tools to clear unwanted grasses from the road for easy movement of people, and to make the environment more friendly and to prevent breeding of mosquitoes.
In the same vein, Iviukwe Muqam cleared debris from road during its Waqar-e-Amal Opposite Borehole, Agenebode Express Road on 31st March, 2019
No fewer than seven Majlis members participated in the community service.
The service, which involved clearing of debris from the express road, was aimed at making the road accident-free and ease the movement of people.
