Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Oyo State has held its mini Ijtema at Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Central Mosque, Oke Ado, Ibadan, between 12th and 14th April, 2019.
The State Ijtema, organized to prepare for members for the National Ijtema held in Lagos State, comprised programmes such as lectures, educational competitions, sporting events, road procession, march past and symposium.
As part of the events, Majlis members marched out in their sparkling Khuddam uniform for a 5.63km peace trek to the symposium hall situated at the ancient and heritage Cultural Centre, Mokola Hill, Ibadan.
During the peace trek, over 700 tracts were distributed during the procession, together with the chanting of poems and slogan to exhibit the beautiful teachings of Islam.
At the symposium, Maulvi Mubarak Bello delivered a lecture on the theme of the convention ‘Tabligh’ (Outreach). While elucidating the subject as a tool to save mankind from ruin by calling to faith, he stressed the outstanding efforts of the Holy Prophet of Islam in preaching and as well his excellent model in his perseverance during severe persecution and tyranny of the then opponents.
The Chairman of the symposium, Dr Taofeek Sanni, Naib Sadr South West charged members to be agents of Tabligh propagation always.
Over 261 people including the invited guests attended the programme. Several gifts were given to outstanding members in the educational and sporting events.
Similarly, awards were given to Bashorun Muqam and Oyo Dil’a as the best Muqam and best Dil’a. Tarbiyya officer emerged the best state officer and Bro Mubarak Ajimoti as the best Khadim.
Special recognition was also given to Bro Abdur Raheem Lateef from Omi-Adio Dil’a for his immense contribution towards the uplift of the Majlis.
Furthermore, the Nazim Ansarullah also welcomed new 60 graduating Khuddam into the elders’ fold, as he charged them to be pro-active and extra committed to the cause of Majlis Ansarullah.
Oyo State Qaid, Bro Muftaudeen Hussein in his closing remarks appreciated all members for gracing the State Ijtema en mass. He further charged them not to relent in their services in the way of Almighty Allah.

Isiaka Kehinde; Representative of Oyo State Agency for Youth and Social Development, Mr. Raheem Wakil Ademola; an Ahmadi Professor from Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Prof. S. O Ismail; former Oyo Qaid, Bro Awe Abdul Hakeem andd Splash FM Radio Correspondent, Mr. Femi Ojo, among others.
