AMSA FUNAAB commissions lodge

By Abdul Roqeeb Ogunrinde

Ahmadi Muslim Students’ Association, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta has commissioned its new AMSA Lodge on 4th May, 2019.

It was a great pleasure for AMSA FUNAAB joining the list of tertiary institutions having a separate building built for the purpose of the forum.

The event was graced by Ogun State AMSA President, Bro Faruq Olalekan Ojuola and AMSA FUNAAB President, Bro Habeebullah Olasunkanmi Onifade who doubles as Vice State President.

The state forum meeting held its meeting on the 3rd of May as the Lodge was commissioned the following day.

The building, meant to serve a greater purpose for the forum and the Jama’at at large, will ease the gathering of AMSA members for academic, moral and spiritual development.

It’s a fact that most tertiary institutions, where AMSA operates, do not have a separate lodge. But this has become a history as AMSA of this great institution has gotten a befitting building built on a conducive environment.

The building consists of five 2 bedroom apartments. While three were given to females, two to males.

Bro Habeebullah Onifade, FUNAAB President, in his speech, gave thanks to Almighty Allah for giving his imarah such privilege as the lodge was an epitome of blessings from Allah the Almighty.

Bro Faruq Olalekan Ojuola, the State President urged members not to hesitate to get their apartment in the newly commissioned lodge as it would gather them all together to promote peace, love and unity.
