Media Invitation: Ekiti State attends FRCN Ramadan Lecture

Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Ekiti Ilaqa has attended the FRCN Ramadan Lecture following an invitation from the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, 100.5 FM Ado Ekiti on 16th May, 2019.

The event which had two lecturers; one of whom is the General Secretary of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, Nigeria, Alh. Abbas Iromini Sahib, who spoke on “Islam and Humanity”.

Alh. Iromini, in his lecture, explained why mankind was created according to the Holy Qur’an, positing that mankind has been created to worship Him, restrain oneself from​ sinful acts and follow all His commandments.

He concluded his lecture with the analysis of the three stages of spiritual development.

The second lecture titled “Security Challenges in Nigeria: The Way Forward” was delivered by Dr Ahmad Aminullah, a lecturer from the College of Education, Ikere-Ekiti.

Dr Aminullah talked on the essence of adequate security, while stating that improper handling of security has led to present insecurity challenges.

He concluded that education, good welfare system, cooperation, unity and harmony are the way forward to overcome the challenges of security in Nigeria.​

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at seized the opportunity to do tabligh by distributing not less than 35 Review of Religions Magazine to people at the venue.

Among the dignitaries at the event include: The Paramount Ruler of Osan-Ekiti, HRM Oba Tajudeen Bamidele Jimoh (Olosan of Osan Ekiti); General Manager, 100.5 FM, Mr Oladele; Maulvi Giwa Jamiu; Missionary Hassan Abdulkareem and President, Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Ekiti, Alhaji Yakub Sanni, among others.

Seven Khuddam in uniform, Jama’at members and the general public attended the event.

The event ended with question and answer session and prayers.

However, Ekiti Ilaqa members also paid a courtesy visitation to Bro. Abubakar, a member who was admitted at the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH).

During the visit, a prayer for his recuperation was offered.
