Welfare: Mushin, Odo-Ona Localities visit prison yards, donate items


Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Mushin and Odo-Ona Localities have visited prison yards and donated items to the inmates during their recent visitations to the plenipotentiary.

Mushin locality visited Badagry Prison Yard inmates on 25th May, 2019 to ascertain their well-beings and to support them with some basic human needs.

During the visit, over 300 food packed in disposable plates and more than 10 bags of sachet water and others were donated to the inmates.

In another development, a six-member of Odo Ona Muqami paid a welfare visit to the inmates of Agodi Prison.

The Majlis members were given the opportunity to have discussions with the inmates and feedbacks were received from them.

The inmates admonished the Majlis to always pay them visit as Christians did and used it to win their hearts.

Also, one of the inmates said some were here owing to lack of money to bail them out, pleading to the Majlis to assist in bailing them out as some only needed between 5,000 and 10,000 for bail out.

At the end of the visitation, food items and clothes were given to them.
