Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Ojodu District and Ogun State have taken their tree planting campaigns to Zion African Church Primary School, Otun, Akute and Ago Ilara Health Centre, Illisan Remo respectively.
Ojodu Dil’a held its tree planting on 19th June, 2019 as ten different apple trees were planted in ten suitable locations within the school’s premises.
The School’s Principal, Mr. Ahmed Babajide equally welcomed MKAN members and expressed his gratitude to MKAN for choosing the school to hold such programmes therein.
MKAN also expressed its gratitude to the school’s principal and Alhaja Balogun for the granted permission to carry out the exercise in their school.
However, Ogun Ilaqa held its tree planting exercise at Ago Ilara Health Centre, Illisan Remo, Ogun State on 16th June, 2019.
The project team led by State Qaid, Bro Idris Ibrahim, NSQ Admin, Bro Ayelaagbe Abdul Jabbar, Motamad and Coordinator, Tree planting exercise Bro. Saheed Idowu, among others, sensitized the invited personalities on the importance of tree planting and their roles as stakeholders in nurturing the tree to maturity.
While presenting the project, the State Coordinator reiterated that the life of man is threatened when we continue cutting without planting trees. This is because, in addition to other physical importance, trees improve the quality of air, remove the unwanted substance and reduce the effects of global warming.
The members and staff of the health centre showered encomiums on Ahmadi Muslim Youth Ogun State and assured proper care and treatment of the trees.
Altogether, 20 trees were planted at the centre, 10 Gmelina and 10 Rose apple were planted.
Six invited personalities and Eighteen members of the Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya participated in the exercise.
