Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya,Oyo State has organised Ta’leem/Tarbiyya (Education and Training) Seminar within Monatan and Oluyole Ona-ara Districts for the new converts into the Community held between 6th and 7th July, 2019.
Having reflected on Qur’an 58: 12, Oyo Majlis deemed it necessary to orientate the new Ahmadis on their roles and obligations with regard to education and training programmes of the Jama’at.
The programme, chaired by Naib Muhtamin Taleem, Bro. Monsur Ajimoti and supported by Monatan Dil’a Qaid, Bro.Oseni Rasheed, Missionary Adewole AbdulAzeem and Bro. AbdulAfeez Tejumola, was meant to integrate the newly converted and members who have just graduated to the system of Majlis Khuddam-ul Ahmadiyya officially into the Jama’at and to orientate them on Salat.
The chair, Bro. Ajimoti, in his welcoming address, disclosed that salat is a compulsory religious duty that every believer is commanded to perform throughout the course of his or her life.
Human beings are prone to forgetfulness and heedlessness. According to him, If they fail to use their intellect to perform their obligations to God, invariably, they would do things against the will of God.
Furthermore, he said the salat performed five times daily eradicates that forgetfulness and heedlessness and keeps the believer’s will and awareness alive, while ensuring that the believer constantly turns to Allah and assists him to live according to the dictates of God.
Besides, the attendees were also encouraged to engage in reading Jama’at literatures and observe prayers and supplications with ideal concentration and conviction so as to serve its purpose of refraining Muslims from evils.
The seminar was attended by 34 participants, featuring lectures such as Types of Salat and How to observe them, Importance of Salat, “Practical Demonstration of Salat, Benefits of Writing Letters to Huzur (atba) and Huzur’s Sermon, among others.
