Ahmadi Muslim Students’ Association, Minna has organized a seminar, sports events and others as part of Annual Propagation Week programme for students across Niger State on 25th September, 2019.
The programme, which was tagged “Decency and Morality: a Catalyst to Spirituality”, is aimed at promoting peaceful co-existence among students and the society as well as upbringing the young ones morally and also providing them with educational and Islamic trainings.
The highlights of the APW include: welfare visitation to Government Orphanage at Minna, review of the book “Our Teachings”, health talk (how to manage stress as a student), Ta’leem section based on AMSA syllabus, educational and sporting events, excursion to Maitunbi Hills, Minna and Rishtanata (Marriage Seminar) on the adverse effect of marrying outside the fold of the Jama’at and the importance of marrying within the fold.
The symposium titled “Decency and Morality: a Catalyst to Spirituality was held to educate youths on how to sustain their morality and spirituality without being indecent. The lecture was delivered by Missionary Murthada Akintunde.
Awards and prizes were presented to some members for their outstanding performances.
Furthermore, as a requisite in AMSA Constitution, an election was conducted for post of the unit president to steer the ship of the Association for two years.
42 members participated in the programme, including secondary school students with 10 non-Ahmadi students, totalling 52 students who participated.
