Ahmadi Muslim Youth Organization (Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya), Ibadan District has paid a welfare visit to Correctional Service, Agodi Prison Yard at Ibadan, Oyo State on 13th November, 2019.
The welfare visit was made to the prison to encourage the inmates not to lose heaths that they can become good ambassadors of the society.
The Circuit Tabligh (Preaching) Secretary, Ustadh Abdus Salam gave a thought-provoking lecture which brought tears from inmates. After which some questions were asked by the them.
Some gifts items were presented to them such as: clothes, tooth paste, brushes, toilet rolls, bathing and laundry soaps, among others.
In their remarks, the inmates urged the Majlis Khuddam to visit them as frequent as possible, while requesting that they should come with a doctor and lawyer for their professional services to them whenever they visit the Centre.
Responding, the District Qaid, Bro Moshood Adenekan, promised that all their requests would be considered appropriately and in good faith.
Other people in attendance include: Bro Ridwan Yusuf, Bro Olalere Abdul Rasheed, Welfare team and Muqaam Qaid representative.
In another development, not less than 69 people benefited from the free medical check-up organized for members of the public by Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Organization (Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya), Osun State ahead of its Ride For Peace held on 10th November, 2019.
Among the ailments checked was Hepatitis B which, according to the medical practitioners, Dr Adetayo Abdulhakeem and Scientist Alawode, is the most common and deadliest medical condition nowadays if not quickly checked.
Dr Adetoye, addressing the beneficiaries, reiterated that they should avoid from sharing sharp objects and other things that could make them get contacted.
The attendance of the beneficiaries was 57 Khuddam, 1 Ansarullah and 1 Lajna.
