Ahmadi Muslim Youth Organization (Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya), Apata District has held its monthly Atfal camp at AMJ Apata Circuit Central Mosque between 14th and 16th February, 2020.
The camp highlights include: reviewing of Atfal Syllabus, recitation and memorization of the Holy Qur’an, learning of Hadith and Qaseedah, educational events, Dars-ul Qur’an and Dars-ul Hadith and Solaatul Tahajjud, among others.
The kids also enjoyed the event amidst Apata Circuit Vice President, Bro. Taofeek Hadi Sahib, who sensitised them on hygiene.
He discussed the importance of hygiene, personal hygiene, as a good habit to develop in order to maintain healthy life.
During the 3-day camp, the state immunization team visited the kids at the camp venue and vaccinated some of the kids (of age 5) to prevent the life-threatening preventive diseases among kids.
Meanwhile, in commemorating the Atfal Day, the District took the kids to Trans-Amusement Park, Ibadan on Saturday, 15th February 2020 to have a free time, play around and to be educated in a more friendly environment.
They were taught to be responsible children to their parents, elders, teachers, members of the society and to focus on their secular and Islamic education.
The kids, according to their groups, were led to the amusement base. The VIP (youngest kids) were led to the Merry-go-round (horse) amusement ride which consists of a rotating circular platform with seats for riders. The Group 1 were led to Telecombat (Hero plane) for their own ride, while the Group 2 and Group 3 were led to Chair-o- plane (basket) for their own ride respectively.
97 Ahmadi kids, 12 teachers, 8 supervisors and 3 Ahmadi women were in attendance.
