The leadership of Ahmadi Muslim Youth Organization (Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya), Akinyele District has distributed food items as a palliative to members on 21st April, 2020.
The four Localities in the District were ably represented by the youth presidents for the collection of the palliatives for their respective members.
Youth Presidents who received the palliative appreciated the District for coming up with this initiative particularly at this difficult time where the novel COVID-19 pandemic is spreading and has affected both businesses and the country’s economy.
26 Ahmadi youth members across the four Localities in the District were beneficiaries of the palliative.
In another development, Ahmadi Muslim Youth Organization (Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya), Oyo State has distributed food and toiletries to inmates of Nigeria Correctional Service, Agodi, Ibadan.
The State Youth President, Bro. Hussein Muftaudeen, while presenting the items, said the gesture was in fulfilment of the organization’s mandate of community service development.
The motto of our parent body, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is ‘love for all and hatred for none’ and it is known for substantive humanitarian service worldwide, he said.
Muftauden also noted that the inmates of the correctional service are part of the vulnerable segment of the society which needs help all the time, explaining that the organization is known for constant visitation to this yard on monthly basis with gift items but this particular donation is due to the rising cost of commodities during this COVID-19 period and as well as ongoing Ramadan fast.
Receiving the items, the service welfare team appreciated the constant visitation of the Majlis with gift items and prayed for its resounding successes in all endeavours.
