The first lecture was delivered by Bro. Adeitan Mustapha on “The Road Map to Tertiary Institution Life”.

He began his lecture by defining the tertiary institution as a plain field, as no one is there fully to guide you, unlike the beginners’ school. To achieve your goals, some of the points noted in his lecture are as follows: setting a long time goal; time management – all hours are equal but some hours are important than others; avoiding unnecessary work and lastly, being among the good people. He said, by applying these, one’s goals can be achieved.

The second lecture was delivered by Bro. AbdulAkeem Mustapha on “Nigeria’s Economy: Opportunities for Youth”.

Quoting Qur’an 30 vs 55, he then accentuates that every failure is the key to success and money is an exchange of value. He highlighted factors that make one a better person, which include: Discovering one’s strength and weakness; taking action to learn new skills (everything can be stolen from you, but not your skill); leaving the environment that keeps you down; starting a side hustle; living a life of simplicity, managing your resources scrupulously (time, wealth, health); striving to be the best; being reliable; not joking with your savings and staying focus.

The third lecture delivered by Bro. Ademoye Toyeeb was on “Understanding Admission Policy and CBT Training”.

He read out, explained and analyzed policy governing admission exercise as well as UTME examination. He gave out admission exercises – statistics and reasons some aspirants aspiring for respective higher institutions face disappointments.

His lecture was eloquently delivered as he enlightened participants on how to deal with admission processing and the easy ways to lessen disappointments.

At the end of the lectures, questions were asked which were treated to the participants’ liking.

In the same vein, CBT training was offered to the participants, which numbered 30.
