In a bid to finalise the National Tabligh Week activities held between 1st and 6th November 2021, Majlis Khuddamul-Ahmadiyya, Nigeria has organised a two-day public lecture held at Iwo town, Osun State.
The lecture, which was held at the Palace of Oluwo, Oba Abdurashid Akanbi Telu 1, had two lecturers, Ustadh Hafidh AbdurRafeeq Alaka who spoke on the “Introduction to Ahmadiyya” and Ustadh Sherif Akinyemi Ashraff who discussed the theme of this year’s Tabligh Week “Global Peace and Security: Muhammadan Perspectives”.
Furthermore, questions and answers were entertained as the lecturers did justice to the segment adequately.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the occasion, Bro Abdul Jabbar Aiyelaagbe, Naib Sadr SouthWest, who represented the Sadr, MKAN, Bro Roqib Akinyemi made visitations in conjunction with the Tabligh team to three Arabic Institutions in Iwo town.
The Tabligh team, led by Hafidh AbdurRafeeq Alaka, also include Ustadh Sherif Akinyemi and Muhtamin Nao Mubain, Muallim Abdul Kabeer Folohunso.
According to the team, several Tabligh activities were reported by the officers across the states. Some of which are: 46 houses were reached during the house-to-house preaching exercise within a week; 37 lost bai’ats were worked on; over 150 visitations were made to Ahmadis and non-Ahmadis respectively and five public lectures were held with more than 200 attendees.
Other activities are: two billboards were erected by Apata Dil’a and Oyo Dil’a displaying the words “Messiah Has Come” and teachings of Imam of the Age respectively; Agbokojo Muqam printed many banners in the form of placards which were displayed around the market; Niger Ilaqa paid a Tabligh visit to Chief Imam of Minna and over 1,340 Jama’at pamphlets and literatures were distributed during the Tabligh week.
