Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Nigeria (MKAN) Osun Ilaqa on Sunday, January 9 graduated members of the Jamaat who are 40 years of age to Ansarullha and held orientation programme for new executive members of the association at the Ahmadiyya Central Mosque, Ilesha.
The chairman of the programme, Pa Nurein Olayemi while giving his address urged new executive members to write letter to His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Mosroor Ahmad, the Khalifah of the jamaat, for Allah’s assistance regarding offices entrusted to them.
He informed them that a member who is not active while he was a Khaddim will not be active as a Nasir.
The State Qaid, Brother Tella Qamarudeen while giving his speech charged all executive members to be up and doing
The former Naib State Qaid, Brother Ahmed Abideen who was one of the speakers at the programme advised all executive members to be versed in Islamic and western knowledge and serve as role model to their followers.
Brother Olalekan Monsur, former State Nazim Maal, the second speaker at the programme, advised that executive members should ensure love and peaceful coexistence among members.
Moreover, Brother Ogunsola Abdulhakim, who is also a former Naib State Qaid, during his own lecture stressed the importance of Muttamad, Isha’at, Tajnid, Audiovisual and Umumi offices and explained the duty of the officers.
The Circuit Missionary of Ede, Ustaz Hauwal Abdulhakim who delivered a lecture on the topic titled “Discharging One’s Duty on Diligence and Efficiency; The Quran and Hadith Perspective” said failure to fulfil the trust of leadership might lead one to hell. Therefore, members must be diligent and efficient in all their endeavours.
He stressed that prophet Muhammad has warned Muslims not to request for leadership position even on two people.
In the same vein, the Central Missionary of Osun, Mualvi Mubarak Bello stressed that individual believer should follow the footpath of Prophet Muhammed and heed the words of the Khalifah.
Other dignitary at the programme was Sadr MKAN Nigeria, ably represented by National Sanato Tijarat, Brother Abdulhafis Adejumo.
