In the bid to raise the momentum and prepare the children for the forthcoming 2017 Regional joint Atfal and Nasrat Islamic Vacation Course/Ijtema, Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Omi Adio Dil’a organized a 3-day mini Ijtema for the children held at Abidogun Circuit Headquarters between 21st and 23rd July, 2017.
The opening session was anchored by the Circuit General Secretary, Pa Sulaiman Raheem as two lectures – Muhammad (saw)’s Unmatched Love for Children and Muhamad (saw) as a Child – were delivered by Ustaz Abdul Hafeez Apooyin and Bro Abdul Mujeeb Apooyin respectively.
Meanwhile, the Circuit Missionary, Muallim Salih Obaditan was the Chairman of Closing Ceremony while Oke-Oloro Jama’at President, Pa. Mumeen Oladipupo was the special guest of honour as token of prizes were given to children who performed excellently in all categories.
Other highlights of the event include: Ta’lim Competitions, Indoor and Field Sporting events, Road Procession and Book Review among others. 103 Atfal and 99 Nasrat participated in the Ijtema.
In a related development, the Dil’a, considering the importance of constant blood pressure screening in line with the provision of MKAN Handbook, organized blood pressure screening for its members on 2nd July, 2017 at Oke-Oloro Muqami.
Fifty Seven (57) Majlis Khuddam and five (5) Ansarullah members benefitted from the exercise. Two of the beneficiaries were directed to seek medical consultation due to their results perceived as abnormal.
