AMSA: Ekiti, FCEA hold APW as Oyo orientates JAMB students


Ahmadi Muslim Students’ Association (AMSA), Ekiti State has held its Annual Propagation Week (APW) between 15th and 17th September, 2017 with the theme ‘Our Homes, Our Roles, Our Lives: How Far Have We Drifted Away?’

The programme featured humanitarian visit to Ekiti State Rehabilitation Centre, Ado Ekiti, public lecture, indoor activities and competitions such as Qur’an, message delivery, speech and spelling bee.

In a related development, Federal College of Education, Abeokuta also had its APW between 4th and 13th August, 2017 with the theme ‘Inter-Religious Relationship: Catalyst for Peace and Unity in our Society’.

The programme, which had more than 100 participants, featured some activities including quiz and Qur’an competitions and examinations. The symposium was held on Sunday, 13th August, 2017.

Oyo State reported an Orientation Programme organized for JAMB and newly-admitted students, held at different locations across the state.

Meanwhile, Report was received from units across the nation on orientation programme held for the secondary school leavers and new intakes so as to let them know what needed to be done before getting admission and after gaining admission into institutions of their choice.

University of Ibadan Unit proposed to host this year national AHIC which has been approved by Amir Sahib to take place between 2nd and 5th November, 2017.
