As part of measures towards reducing the rate of Illness in the community, Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Aba-Alamu Muqami has tests 74 people during a one-day free medical test held on 18th November, 2017 at Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Aba-Alamu.

The conducted tests were fasting blood sugar measurement, malaria parasite test, blood pressure measurement and test for Protein in urine.

The test, coordinated by seasoned medical experts Hajia Dhunurain Bello, Mrs T.A Bayewu and Bro Taofeeq Salaudeen, had a health talk session on the causes, symptoms and treatment of Diabetes Mellitus delivered by Bro Taofeeq Salaudeen.

A total of 74 persons took part in the exercise which had in attendance 7 Khuddam, 8 Majlis Ansarullah, 28 Lajna Imaillah, 10 Majlis Atfal, 8 Nasrat and 13 Non-members including Christians.

Out of the tested persons, 7 people had +ve for malaria parasite and 5 people had high blood pressure. They were counselled and given drug prescriptions to buy and some were referred to the clinic for further consultations.

The Aba-Alamu Jama’at President expressed his sincere appreciation to the Qaid Aba-Alamu Muqami, Bro Olasunkanmi Zakariyyah for the wonderful idea and also suggested that some other advanced medical tests should be included at subsequent programmes.
