Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Oyo State has covered 11 kilometres in three hours during the Ride for Peace Programme held in November.
With 206 participants, the event was used as a form of Tabligh wherein Ride for Peace, What is Ahmadiyya, the Pathway to Peace and Islam is the Religion of Peace leaflets were distributed to members of the public.
According to Mr. Kamil Arasi, representing Executive Secretary, Agency for Youth Development in Oyo State, “Majlis Khuddam is known for good initiatives that will promote peaceful co-existence and at the same time develop the community. I must say that the Agency is very proud of you and we praise the leadership of the organisation for a job well done and we pray that the organisation will continue to grow from strength to strength.”
One of the passers-by, Comrade Ola Moses from Royal Ambassador also commented on the event. His words: “I met you guys at Mokola Round-About when I was going to Church this morning and I was impressed. I stand to associate with you guys, May Almighty Allah continue to move the Organisation forward. I love you guys.”
