The Head of the Division, Mr Omotosho Akanbi, welcomed the Majlis members with warm heart. The team headed by Qaid Muqami, Bro Salawu Ismail, elaborated on the beliefs of Ahmadiyya and importance of Love for All, Hatred for None in attaining a peaceful co-existence in the society. He further explained the significance of youth in achieving societal peace.

Mr Omotosho Akanbi, in his response, said that he had heard of Ahmadiyya before but had not heard of any Ahmadi youth being convicted of any crime, saying that he was not aware that there is a youth wing among the auxiliary bodies within the Jama’at. He continued that if all youth in the society could be receiving true religious teaching like ours, that there will be more peace on the land.

He further challenged the Majlis to enlighten the public especially the youth within and outside Ikirun to join our group so that they can be useful to themselves and society in general.

Meanwhile, Majlis presented some Jama’at literatures to Head of the division and also informed them that for more information about Ahmadiyya and publications, they could search www.alislam.org.
