Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Aba-Alamu Muqami has extended its welfare tentacles to Jankata Community, Apata, Ibadan where it organized a one-day free medical screening for Members of the Jam’aat and the community on 27th January, 2018.
The free medical screening, which was anchored by medical experts, Hajia Dhunuroin Bello, Mrs T.A Bayewu and Bro Taofeeq Salaudeen, includes blood sugar measurement, malaria parasite test, blood pressure measurement and test for protein in urine.
A total of 60 persons (28 Ahmadis and 32 non-Ahmadis) were screened. Out of which, one person tested positive to diabetes and proteinuria while few others had slight increase in blood pressure. The affected persons were advised on measures to take and referred to the hospital for further diagnosis and treatment.
The Jankata Jama’at President, Pa Hadi Bola, Pa Akeugberu and Apata Dil’a Qaid, Bro Muftau Hussein who represented the Oyo State Qaid, Bro Abdul Hakeem Awe expressed their sincere appreciation to the Aba-Alamu muqami Qaid, Bro Olasunkanmi Zakariyyah for the good initiative.
