Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Apata District, in a bid to redefine the training and upbringing of Ahmadi children, has organized its third Inter-District Speech Competition held on 10th of February, 2018 at Baitur-Raheem Mosque, Apata.
The competition cuts across Atfal and Nasrat from Six Districts in Oyo state, namely: Apata, Monatan, Ibadan, Coca-Cola, Omi-Adio and Akinyele.
Among the dignitaries who graced the occasion include: Nazim Ala, Majlis Ansarullah, Apata Circuit, Alh Jayeola; Oyo State Qaid, Bro Abdul Hakeem Awe; Naib Muhtamin Tarbiyyah, Bro Taofeek Ajibade; Muhtamin Isha’at, Bro Mujeeb Oniyide; Bro Sheriffdeen Osundare, Gbekuba-Ogbagba Jama’at President, Alh F.A. Ogun; Odo-Ona Jama’at President, Pa Sulaiman Oladokun; Representative of Apata Circuit President, Alhaji Rahman Rauf and Mrs B.A Abdul Raheem.
Each contestant was given three minutes to speak on a topic picked randomly bothering on “Essence of Obedience to the Khalifa in Overcoming Contemporary Challenges”, “Influence of Social Media on the Morals of Muslim Children” and “Role of Justice and Islamic Education: Way to Keep Peace.”
In his remark, the Chairman of the occasion, Bro Abdul-Hakeem Awe showered encomium on Apata District for organizing such educative programme and also urged them not to relent in the continuous training of the children, being our mandate.
Tifl Ahmad Yusuf from Monatan District came first with 123 points while Mardatallah A’Awwal from Apata District and Bamigbade Aishat from Coca-Cola District emerged second and third with 112 points and 106 points respectively. Certificates of participation were given to all the participants while the top three participants received theirs with prizes from the invited guests.
14 invited Atfal and Nasrat, 4 handlers, 30 Majlis Khuddam members attended the program.
