In accordance with the Majlis Khuddam-ul Ahmadiyya Nigeria waqare-amal calendar, Oke-Oloro Muqami carried out a community service on 25th February, 2018 at the hub of Oke-Oloro Street off Abeokuta Expressway Omi-Adio, Ibadan.

The exercise which involved the repair of three different spots of damaged concrete drainage was aimed at reducing the incessant flow of water to unwanted destinations during the raining season as this could further damage the already dilapidated road.

Nine members of the Muqami who participated in the three 3 hours exercise were able to successfully accomplish the project with the use of different materials such as; 1 by 12 wood slabs (to align the drainage casted with mixed concrete), 2 bags of cement, sands, gravel, 2 wheelbarrows, 3 serving bowls, 1 sledgehammer, 2 shovels and 1 digger to ensure the quality of the work.

Many residents who were direct beneficiaries appreciated the selfless service stating that there would be reduction of water logs occupying their frontage during raining season which affected their buildings.
