AMSA Week: PolyIbadan orientates members on Campus life


Ahmadi Muslim Students’ Association, the Polytechnic, Ibadan Unit has orientated its members on living fulfilled lives on campus during the Orientation Week held on 25th March, 2018 at Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Mosque, Sango-Barracks, Ibadan.

The programme, held for the new students numbered 11, had the theme “My Sojourn on Campus” with three lectures delivered by erudite personalities: How to Achieve my Purpose on Campus by Dr. Taofeek Lawal; Western Education: Impact and Advantage to the Jihad by Bro. Tahir Daramola and How to Calculate CGPA by Pa. Daud A. Dikko.

The programme was graced by Coca-Cola Circuit President, Alh. F.O. Salam, AMSA Oyo State President, AbdulSalam Nasir and Circuit Missionary, Muallim Tijani AbdulFatai.

The total attendance was 55 with 23 Males and 32 females including 11 non-members.

Also, in his speech, he promised on behalf of the ministry to give all the necessary support to the Majlis and would always be ready to partner with the Majlis on programmes, especially when it relates to engaging and empowering the youths in the state.

The commissioner was presented an award of recognition and a token gift which he appreciated.

In the Majlis’ team were: Naib State Qaid Admin, Bro Qaseem Ogundokun; Naib Muhtamin Taleem, Bro Mustapha Adeitan, Naib Muhtamin Umumi, Bro Qadri AbdSalam; Nazim Ishaat, Bro Abd Rasheed Animasaun and N. Nazim Sihat-e-Jismani, Bro Tahir Adeitan.
