Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Jami’a Locality has held its 5th symposium to send forth old members and welcome new members on 2nd May, 2018 at Jami’atul Mubashireen, Ilaro, Ogun State.
The programme was chaired by Naib State Qaid, Ogun Ilaqa, Bro. Ayelaagbe Jabbar. Other dignitaries include: Ilaro Dil’a Qaid, Bro. Asuni Ishaq, represented by Dil’a Nazeem Sihat Jismani, Bro. Rofeeq Olabode; Naib Dil’a Qaid II, Bro. Lukmon Adegbola; Lecturer at Jamiatul Mubashireen, Miss. Firdous Ogundare; Raiz, Jamiatul Mubashireen, Hafiz Munawwar Akinyemi and the Host, Qaid Jamia Muqami, Bro. Abdul Hakeem Jamiu.
In his speech, Bro Jamiu appreciated the efforts of the Principal, Jamiatul Mubashireen, Maulvi Nadeem Wasih and the Principal, Ahmadiyya Science College, Miss. Bashirudeen Abideen for allowing the Majlis Khuddam to have meeting with the students and count them as part of the Majlis.
He stated some of the achievements of the Majlis, mentioning that Jamia Muqami was among the best Muqameen. Another great achievement was the first Atfal Muqami Camp which was coordinated by Jamia Muqami for the first time.
The chairman, Bro. Ayelaagbe Jabar, in his speech, mentioned that members should all strive to sacrifice their lives and property for the sake Almighty Allah, encouraging everyone to strive hard to raise this great Muqami, the Dil’a and the Ilaqa to the greatest level, not forgetting to be a mirror to other people according to the motto of MKAN “Model for World Youth”.
The Guest Lecturer, Hafiz Majeed Adeleke, who delivered a speech on the topic “Peaceful Co-existence amidst Youth: A Way for Unity, said, quoting Albert Einstein, that peace cannot be achieved by force but by understanding. He explained further that peace should be proclaimed by Muslims especially Ahmadis.
“Peace should reign between us all irrespective of our religions and believes”.
Awards of Certificate was given to two best officers, Abdul Roqeeb Ogunrinde and Abdul Qayyum Salaudeen, who served the Majlis with resilience throughout the Imarah.
Election for the next Qaid was also conducted by the Dil’a Qaid and the entourage present.
68 Khuddam and 60 Atfal were present at the event.
