Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Lagos State has paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Highness, Oba Idowu Muhammad Aliu Akindele (Akingbade1) in his palace at Akute on 15th July, 2018.
The visit took place during the Waqar-e-Amal (Dignity of Labour) exercise that the Majlis held at Akute.
The Qaid, Shuaib Badmus, gave an introduction of what Ahmadiyya community and Majlis Khuddam stand for. He informed the king of some of the MKAN special programmes for the year, which include stop the crime, tree planting, Waqar-e-Amal which was then ongoing at the time of the visit.
It is worthy of note that the Amir, Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, Nigeria, Alh. Dr. Mashhud Adenrele Fashola, visited the Oba in January.
In his response, Oba Akindele appreciated Majlis members for the visit and also on some of the beautiful programmes they have designed for the year. His words: “What the youth wing of the Jama’at stands for, truly reflects what the elders of the Jama’at explained to him in their visit early this year.”
He therefore advised members to ensure they uphold good practices as taught by the Holy Qur’an and Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (saw).
The team also includes: Naib State Qaid, Huzzein Yemen; Ojodu Dil’a Qaid, Roqib Akinyemi; Dil’a Qaid Lagos Island, Hafees Babatunde; Muhtamin Nao Mubain, Muallim AbdulKabeer Folorunso; Naib Muhtamin, Sami’a wa Baseer, Idris Ogunsola, Qaid Akute Muqam, Saheed Adeleke and Hafis Bello, among others.
