Sequel to the directive of the Sadr Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Nigeria, Engr Saheed Aina, 26 members of Lagos State, including 8 special squad members attended the Ansarullah National Ijtema held between 31st August and 2nd September, 2018 at Badagry, Lagos to render supportive roles.
The 26 men worked on various strategic departments to ensure smooth and stress-free Ijtema for the elders of the Jama’at. These departments include: traffic control department; food serving/kitchen assistance department; protocol assistance department; property and lives security department.
They marched out in the evening on Thursday, 30th, August 2018 to control traffic for the Ansarullah buses coming from the neighboring south-west states, northern states and eastern states respectively.
The special squad slept overnight on Thursday 30th of August 2018 at Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Mosque, Idimu, being the closest mosque along the strategic traffic routes to Badagry.
The strategic traffic routes mounted were 1. Iyana Ipaja 2. Isheri Roundabout 3. Igbo Elerin Junction
