Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Oluyole-Ona Ara District has renovated Ogbere Central Mosque to wear a new look while expressing gratitude to Almighty Allah and members for their support.
It was learnt that the renovated mosque which was set to be commissioned by the Sadr Sahib, Engr Saheed Aina, was inaugurated in the early 80s under old Ibadan circuit.
The mosque, which was nearly dilapidated, was renovated and reconstructed to meet modern standard for the purpose of enhancing tabligh activities and spreading the message of Islam. The project was single-handedly embarked upon by Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya.
The members of the Jama’at quoted that Hazrat Aisha (ra) relates that: “the very first thing the Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) did after reaching Medina was to build Mosque.”
This action of the Holy Prophet demonstrated that the Mosque is the foundation of Islam.
They further stated that out of about 17 founding members, only two of them were alive to witness the renovation. They prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and grant them Al-Janah Firdaus.
