AMSA FCE (SP), SPED organizes APW

Ahmadi Muslim Students’ Association, Special Education, Oyo has held its Annual Propagation Week (APW) recently.

The Federal College of Education, Oyo AMSA members visited District Police Officer (DPO) of Durba Police Station in which three Jama’at books ‘Riyadus Saaleheen’, ‘The Pathway to Peace’ and ‘Al-Irfan Monthly Bulletin’ were presented to him.

It also organized various events like public Qur’an Competition, sports, Quiz and Speech competitions among members.

A public lecture was also held. The lecturer, Missionary Abdul Kabeer Ojoye, talked on ‘Islam in Politics.’ The lecturer did justice to the topic and motivated the participants.

Another highlight of the event was the maiden Aminu Qur’an and symposium held by the Association at the School Tim Obani Hall, F.C.E (SP), Oyo.

The lecturer, Ustadh Abdhafeez Apooyin, spoke on the topic “Miracles In the Holy Qur’an.”

Meanwhile, the second lecturer, Mr Odejide from Economics Department, spoke on “Physical and the Material Well-being of Man as the tool for solving Social Vices.”

No fewer than six people graduated in the celebration of Aminul-Quran.

The graduation was graced by Maulvi Hashim Badmus, Oyo Circuit President; Pa. Tajudeen AbdusSalam; Missionary Ojoye AbdulKabeer, Agunpopo Oyo Jama’at President, Pa AbdusSalam AbdurRauf; Lajna President Oyo Circuit, Mrs Lawal Raqeebat and Lajna AMSA Coordinator, Mrs Oladeji Tawakalt, among other participants.
