Ahmadiyya International Martial Arts Association of Nigeria (AIMAAN) has organized an under 14 Kiddies Championship and Camping at Ojokoro, Lagos between 2nd and 4th November, 2018.
The event was largely sponsored by the Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyyah, Nigeria (MKAN) with the approval of the Amir Sahib, Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, Nigeria (AMJN), Dr. Mashhud Adenrele Fashola.
The participants came from Lagos, Oyo, Osun, Ogun and Ekiti States as some athletes from these states won medals ranging from Gold, Silver and Bronze.
The Amir Sahib and Sadr MKAN paid a visit and gave speeches despite their busy schedule.
Afterwards, there was a complete support from the Grandmaster N. O. Yusuf especially during the medals award on Sunday. To replicate the gesture and his supports, AIMAAN presented him an award as an appreciation for his services towards the progress of the association since its establishment.
In another development, West African University Games (WAUG) organized a competition at UNIPORT between 4th and 10th November, 2018 where two AIMAAN Referees, Master Abdul Fattah Tijani and Master Daud Ashade were invited to officiate.
Other members who attended the include: Coach, Barrister Owoade (UNILORIN); Athlete, Aminat Idris (UNILAG) Gold; Athlete; Maryam Abdsalam (LASU) Bronze; Athlete, Olanipekun Ope Farooq (OOU) Bronze; Athlete, Adegoke Ayo Luqman (OAU) Gold and Athlete, Busari Idris (UNILORIN) Gold.
Similarly, 4th Grandmaster Koffi Under 16 Taekwondo Championship took place at Rowe Park Sports Centre, Yaba, Lagos on 17th November, 2018 as two Ahmadiyya International Martial Arts Association of Nigeria (AIMAAN) Referees were invited as officials, Master Daud Ashade and Master Abdul Fattah Tijani respectively.
The AIMAAN Officials have been representing the association in all invitations positively and they have been recommended for participation in the upcoming International Referee Course next year.
Therefore, the officials are requesting the members of MKAN to support them with prayers to achieve the desired results.
