Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Ogun State has embarked on a welfare visitation to National Blood Transfusion Service (NBTS), Lepers’ Colony, Iberekodo and Jama’at members at Abeokuta on 7th November, 2018.
The team was led by the Naib State Qaid (Special duties), Alh. Jamiu Oje, accompanied by the State Naib Motamad, Bro Onifade Habeebullah, State Khidmatul Khalq, Bro Wariz Ojo and other three Khuddam from the state.
The members visited the NBTS Office situated at Iberekodo, Abeokuta and they were welcomed by the State Coordinator, Dr. Babatunde Tayo and other three doctors. They appreciated and acknowledged the contributions of the Majlis in terms of blood donation at every available avenue.
“There is no blood donation in Abeokuta if not for Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and one other Association,” one of the doctors said.
Meanwhile, the team proceeded to lepers’ colony, Iberekodo to pay a courtesy visit to the inmates. Three members of the settlement welcomed and appreciated the visit.
Food and toiletries were donated to the inmates and they received all with love and expressed their appreciation.
Afterwards, the members paid a visit to one of the elders in Iberekodo Jama’at, Pa Adefara. He was excited to receive the members and offered prayers to the group as items were given to him.
