Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Omi-Adio Dil’a has held a sensitization talk for Ahmadi Muslim Students’ Association members and prize giving ceremony at Abidogun Central Mosque on 30th December, 2018.
The Jama’at seized the opportunity of the new year holiday cum the ASUU strike to assess the academic progress level of their members at their various institutions and to give the admission seekers, among them the needed orientation in choosing a suitable career with no fewer than 21 members in attendance.
Among dignitaries were: Vice Circuit President, Pa. Ahmed Ibrahim as the programme’s Chairman; Bro. Dawud Abdullah and Bro. Owoade AbdFattah, two of them being educationists, were involved in facilitating the programme.
Choosing a suitable educational career, Guidelines/Tips for JAMB Candidates/Admission Seekers, Academic/Progress Assessment for Higher Learning Students, What Next After ND, NCE, HND or First Degree were all among areas the programme covered.
Higher learning students were equally orientated on how to improve upon cumulative grade point average and how to maintain good standing.
The circuit vice president, advised the students that they must always be leaders in their various institutions, shun bad gangs and make sure they partake in AMSA programmes.
Meanwhile, Bro. Adepoju Ahmad, was offered a token reward for making first class degree in Accounting at Kebbi State University so as to encourage others.
