Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Otun-Ekiti Muqam, Orisunbare Muqam and Ojodu Dil’a have held their Waqar-e-Amal (Dignity of Labour) at different locations to contribute towards the community development service.
Otun-Ekiti Locality cleared the dirts at Ogban Isan Compound on 24th February, 2019 to mark its monthly programme.
Meanwhile, the work was done by a Khadim who dedicated his time and efforts to clear the dirts and made the Ogban Isan compound neat and healthy for the residents of the compound.
In the same vein, Orisunbare Locality also performed its Waqar-e-Amal at Orisunbare Compound on 23rd February, 2019.
A group of 25 Majlis members, 2 Majlis Atfal and 4 Nasra volunteered in the community service.
The team made used of different building materials such as blocks, cements, sand and tools to fix the gutter linking the compound to Orisunbare stream.
The project would also allow free flow of water in the community that would prevent flood and makes the environment more healthy and safer for the residents of the community.
In a related development, Ojodu District has taken its Waqar-e-Amal to Donald Estate Gate Junction, Akute on 24th February, 2019.
A group of 4 Majlis stormed the Estate with their working tools to reduce water from the main road and also created a drainage to allow the free flow of water.
The service would prevent water from further damaging the road, safe the people of the community from mosquito infection and makes the environment more friendly for all and sundry.
As a result, landlords and passers-by in the community commended the Majlis for such unusual service.
